COMPANY PROFILE

　　Overseas Investment & Development Corp. (OIDC) was established in 1995 in response to government's call to assist the government to enhance bilateral relationship between ROC and countries having diplomatic relation with ROC and to fulfill its international obligations. To this end, Dr. Jeffrey L.S.Koo, former Chairman of Chinese National Associate of Industry and Commerce, invited major public and private enterprises, group and financial institutions to incorporate the company.

　　Since its formation, compling with company vision, OIDC has successfully expanded its scope of overseas business operations via investment activities and related to assist ROC government to develop its international and diplomatic activities. With OIDC's investment philosophy, OIDC has invested in various sections and actively participated in the areas of Central America, Africa and Asia Pacific. Among OIDC's portfolio, the most successful sector is construction sector, the subsidiary “OECC”, which has carried out numerous overseas public infrastructure projects which first in Panama, Haiti, and then extended to Nicaragua, Guatemala, Kiribati and Gambia.  All projects have been receiving high profile publicity. OIDC also endeavor to select and evaluate profitable venture projects in high tech and real estate to achieve superior investment results and financial return.

　　Through several years, developing, OIDC has been steadily evolved in the field of construction, high technologies and land development.  With proven track record, OIDC is confident in applying its corporate ideology, maximizing shareholder's value and exploiting synergies with public advantage in the future.
